Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, the daughter of a musician from Mexico was born to the music-loving parents of her family. The majority of her childhood was spent listening to classical music, old boleros, as well as traditional ranchero and romantic ballads. Ana is a fan of tangos and operas as well as other theatrical performances. When she was a child, her mother would sing with her and sister, she began more intense singing lessons at the age of 16 under the tutelage of the renowned Mexican tenor FlavioBecerra. She continued her musical training through the School of Music of Guadalajara University, and then the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. In her early career, she was spent performing with various opera choruses, chamber groups in Guadalajara. In 2000, she relocated back to in the United States and sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. Then, in 2007, she settled in her new home in Southern California. She currently performs the traditional Latin American songs at private events as a soloist. The love she has for the performing arts, music, as well as the arts keeps her engaged in local projects for both an artist as well as a educator. Ana is also a previous part of the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana is grateful to the Inland Master Chorale for allowing her to perform the traditional Latin American song.
